Are you reporting system failures to a slack channel?

Many organizations do, since everyone has Slack open all day. So someone is bound to notice when things go sideways.

Are most days filled with false positives?

A lot of time wasted checking out the alert channels just to realize they are false positives and just ignore them. All the while, slowly getting desensitized to the alerts in the corresponding channels altogether.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a bot alert you when it actually matters?

When things do go wrong, typically the alert channel starts blasting with errors.

If only something could alert everyone when that happens...
